During my time as a guest teacher at HKDI this past autumn I noticed very particular, locally-made stainless-steel doors everywhere in Hong Kong and decided to design a stackable stool using the same steel-profile and pattern. I wanted it to look as if it would have always been right there. A small edition of three was produced with a local manufacturer on Shanghai Street in Yau Ma Tei that usually only makes doors.
